Last night was kinda rough. I woke up a lot because I slept so well the last couple of days. I was kinda cranky and Mommy and Daddy both had to get up and take care of me a few times.
When Mommy and I woke up for the day Daddy was already gone to work. I decided it was time for another bath, but since I don’t know how to tell Mommy what I want I decided to puke on her. That always gets me a nice warm bath followed by a cuddle.
After my bath we chilled out and relaxed for a while. Eventually Grandma Marjorie and Auntie Rachel came over to visit. Mommy said we were going to a really cool store called IKEA. When we got to the store I saw and amazing playground filled with coloured balls. I really wanted to go and play but apparently I am too small and have to wait until I’m older.
We walked around Ikea and eventually got to the best part . . . lunch. At the cafeteria Mommy got us all set up and ready to order but Auntie Rachel and Grandma Marjorie decided that they wanted hot dogs instead so they bailed on Mommy and went downstairs to the hot dog stand. It was really fun watching Mommy try to balance the stroller, her purse, the diaper bag, me, and her dinner tray all at the same time. Eventually Rachel and Grandma came back so it was all okay in the end.
When we got home from IKEA I got to meet a new friend. Shawn was over with his new puppy Roxy. She is pretty and brown and really soft. She’s kinda hyper though and pulled on her leash a bunch trying to get to see me. She gave me lots of kisses with her tongue. I can’t wait until I am bigger and can play with her and Molly.
When Shawn and Roxy left we went out for our first restaurant meal . . . SUSHI. It was Auntie Rachel’s birthday dinner request. All of the people at the Sushi restaurant were so excited to see me. They said I was very handsome. I was a pretty good baby in the restaurant and I only cried a few times. Daddy took me over to watch the Sushi Masters making the sushi rolls. It was very cool.
After a while we went home and had a nice birthday cake for Auntie Rachel. Then it was time for bed. Love Charlie.
