Allright, this is it. Last part of a very long catch up post.
October
On the 1′st Auntie Elaine came over for a quick visit. I was a really smily boy when she was here and we got a couple of good pictures. She brought us a nice lunch but she had to run off to go work so quickly. It was really nice to see here though.
On the 3′rd Mommy had her usual lunch with the Mommies and Babies group and another sign language lesson. So far we have learned how to say Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa.
On the 4′th I went to a new swim class that had lots of kids in it to play with. We did some more swimming underwater and practised kicking off of the side of the pool. We sang songs and had lots of fun. After swimming we went to visit Rebecca and Ivy. Mommy and Rebecca had tea while Ivy and I played. I was pretty tired from swimming though so I napped for most of the visit. Then we went to Grammy and Poppa’s house to pick up Elmo. We get to dog-sit while they go and visit with Cousin Ellen and Johnny in Topsail.
On the weekend we went up to the cottage with all the doggies and our stuff. It was fantastic weather and the doggies played outside, ran around and swam a whole bunch. Daddy spent most of the weekend working though. He carried beds from the cabin to upstairs. Beds from upstairs to downstairs. Beds from downstairs to the cabin. It made me kind of dizzy. I’m not really sure why he was moving all the beds, but I’m sure Grammy and Poppa have a good reason for it. Daddy also worked on his course for school and spent time trying to get the website up and running. Then he hauled wood around and made a nice big pile on the porch. He says that is to keep everyone warm in the winter. After that we put up Christmas lights. Geez Daddy, come play with me already. That’s okay though because Mommy and I had a fun weekend cooking, talking, reading, singing, dancing, and playing.
All of us went for a really nice family walk in the woods with the doggies. The sun was shining and the leaves looked so pretty. Oh, guess what? I got to try out the Jolly Jumper for the first time ever this weekend. It is so cool. Daddy put on some great tunes and all of us danced together. I was a dancing and bouncing machine. Be sure to check out the video of me in the Jolly Jumper on the Movies page.
Well that’s it for now. I am all caught up. I am sure that I missed some important and fun things in the past 60 days, so if you can think of something add it to a post at the bottom.
Lots of Love,
Charlie
