Day 25
I spent a good portion of this day catching up on my sleep. I have only been getting 20 hours a day and I need much more than that, so I slept and slept and slept. While I was sleeping Daddy went to work and Mommy cleaned and cleaned the house. After the house was super clean Mommy took me to Costco. I hear its a really big, fun store but I was tired so I slept while Mommy shopped.
In the evening we went to Mommy and Daddy’s work for the annual Spring Fair. It was amazing. There were so many people and cool things to do. Most of the mommies from the work brought their babies too and it was like a real baby party. I would have really enjoyed the party except I was really tired so I slept through most of it. I did wake up for one part where Daddy was sitting on the dunk tank. I pushed the button and made him go swimming. It was lots of fun. You can check out a small video of it in the Movie section.
Day 26
Daddy left early for work this morning but Mommy and I stayed in bed to sleep. When we woke up I got to have a bath. Mommy was having such a fun time washing me and making me clean that she didn’t listen when I told her I had to go to the bathroom. Oops, at least it happened in the tub. I got to have a second bath right away. What fun.
I got my first piece of mail today. It was addressed to me with my full name and everything. It came from the government. It was my Social Insurance number. Mommy says now that I have this number I need to get a job. Wonder what I should do, I can barely move my head. Perhaps a professional bed tester. I’m pretty good at sleeping.
In the afternoon Mommy and Daddy’s friends Jillian and Monica came over. They brought their beautiful baby girls for a visit, Sophia and Rayna. Hmmm . . . let’s see . . . Rebecca has Ivy, Amy has Hélène, Jillian has Sophia, and Monica has Rayna . . . all girls . . . and I’m the only boy . . . WOOHOO!!! Mommy and the ladies had a nice lunch and visit while I entertained the girls. We snuggled on the couch for a bit and the girls smiled at me a lot. I don’t know how to do that yet, but I bet if I keep hanging out with all these pretty girls I will figure it out.
Daddy came home and I got to have some much needed hugging. We had a little nap on the couch and then we all went outside to brush Molly and cut her toenails. Afterwards we played frisbee with Molly. She is amazing. She can jump in the air and catch it and everything. Well its time for a nap. Talk too you tomorrow. Love Charlie.
