Last night was a little rough. It was so hot that I couldn’t sleep. I cranked and cried and fussed most of the night. Mommy and Daddy were pretty tired in this morning. I’m sure glad that I didn’t have to go to work.
Today we had a Hurst Family Party! Auntie Rachel and Grandma Marjorie came over to visit and I got so many hugs and kisses. Lucky me. We got Molly leashed up and went for a nice walk. It was so hot though that when we came back I had a nap with Auntie Rachel.
Daddy came home and I helped him fix some vents in the basement so the air conditioner would work better. I was a great helper. I stayed nice and quiet until Daddy got up into the ceiling and then I cried nice and loud so that he would be careful and not hurt himself. Daddy said I was such a good helper that the job took twice as long as it should of. I guess because he wanted to spend more time with me. Talk too you tomorrow. Love Charlie.
