We had a good nights sleep last night. I am starting to wake up on my own when its time to eat. Mommy and Daddy are proud of me and happy that they don’t have to fight to get me to wake up. Last night I had a great big feed at 5 am, and just after I finished, well I guess I had too much, cause I barfed all over Mom. It wasn’t much fun for anyone, except maybe Daddy who laughed really quietly so Mommy couldn’t hear.
Daddy left for work and Molly, Mommy and I slept in. Later in the morning when we all got up. I got wear my new diapers today. They are made of cloth and they are just starting to fit. They feel much nicer on my bum than the disposable ones. I got some cool diaper covers from Cousin Elle and Auntie Sarah. You can see one of them in my photos for today.
We got the stroller organized and Molly, Mommy and I went for a nice walk. Molly was really good with the stroller and hardly pulled at all. After the walk Mommy packed us into the car and we went to the store to do some shopping. This is the first trip we’ve gone on with just Mommy and me. It was lots of fun, well at least that’s what Mom said cause I slept the whole time.
When we got home from the store I got to say hi to my neighbour Lorenzo. He is almost 3 and lots of fun. He asks lots of questions and has lots of energy. I can’t wait until I am big enough to play with him.
After work Daddy came home and Grandma Barbie and Grandpa Taylor arrived shortly after. They are here to take Molly to the cottage again. She loves me, but I think she loves being at the cottage more. There are lots of squirrels for her to chase.
Grandma Barbie brought me a present from our good friend Pat. It is an exercise and activity mat. It looks so cool and colourful. I can’t wait to try it out. Thanks for the great gift Pat. After the grandparents left we went upstairs for my first bath.
The water was warm and Daddy got in with me. It felt weird at first but I think I liked it. Mommy and Daddy washed me clean with the warm water. Pretty soon I got cold and told them it was time to get out. They put me in my cool whale towel and got me all nice and dry and warm. That’s all for today. Love Charlie.
