Today was a super busy day. I got to sleep a little more last night as a reward for gaining so much weight over the last 2 days. Mom and Dad only woke me 3 times to eat. We snuggled in bed for a little bit and then it was time to get up.
Daddy did a bunch of laundry because somehow my clothes keep getting dirty. I have lots of outfits though so I can wear new clothes all day long! Daddy went out to the store to pick up some groceries and Mommy and I hung out in the living room checking out her Facebook.
After Daddy came back we had our first visitors of the day. Mommy’s cousin Beth Ann, her husband Evin and their 1 year old son Eamon came over to play. Eamon has just learned how to walk and he was zooming around all over the living room. Daddy put out a snack called watermelon. It looked really tasty but Mommy says I have to be bigger before I can have it. Eamon was old enough and he got to eat lots and lots of it. Pretty soon there was watermelon everywhere. It was so much fun, I can’t wait until I get to try it too.
After Eamon went home Grandma Marjorie came over to visit. Mommy was having a nap so I got to go and cuddle with Grandma Marjorie. Daddy went outside to cut the lawn and Grandma and I just stayed on the couch and talked and snuggled. I am so lucky to have so many people that love me.
Grandma Marjorie went home and we started to make some spaghetti for dinner (not for me silly, for Mommy and Daddy). Daddy’s friend Shawn called from the airport to see if he could come over to meet me. When he got he I jumped right into his arms. As soon as I got in his arms I let off a great big fart. I just wanted to show him that I was one of the boys and was looking forward to playing with him when I get bigger.
Soon Shawn left and it was just Mommy and Daddy and me. I wish Molly was here, but I guess she is probably having fun at the cottage. I wonder when I will get to go to the cottage and play too? Good night. Love Charlie.
