Mommy, Daddy, Molly and I had a great day today. I have been having lots of food, and I am sure that I am growing nice and strong. Midwife Lindsay came back to see me again today, and because I am so charming she stayed and played for a long time. When she weighed me everyone was so happy because I had gained lots of weight in the last 24 hours. I guess all of my eating has paid off. Maybe Mom and Dad will let me sleep through the night tonight. Lindsay also poked me with a needle and took lots of blood for some tests. It hurt a lot but I showed everyone how brave I was and I hardly cried at all.
Daddy, Molly and I had a nap together. It was so nice and snuggly warm. Then I got to eat some more food, and Mommy and I had a nap together. It sure is nice having a family that likes napping as much as I do. Molly really wanted to play today and she kept throwing her ball around the house. I think I will keep eating and get strong so that I can throw the ball for Molly.
Grandpa Taylor and Grandma Barbie came over for a visit. Grandpa took Molly for a long walk because Daddy has been too tired to really exercise her. When she came back she was so excited that she jumped all over the place. I think Molly and I are gonna have a lot of fun, once I can move around by myself.
Later in the day Mommy and Daddy’s friends: Amy and Sebastién came over to visit. They brought Hélène over for her first visit. Wow, she is pretty too, just like Ivy. I met my first two girlfriends all in the first week. Very fun. Hélène likes to sing and dance and make lots of noise. I hope she teaches me how to play like that. It looks like a lot of fun.
